Why wedding day details are important, here recently I’ve come across a few situations where the wedding flat lay details weren’t that important to the couple. Which is 100% their choice & I stand behind it if that’s their desire… BUT let me give you a few reasons why you absolutely should have details photographed from your wedding day.
1. As time passes you’ll forget the little things that were weaved into the day, the color of the flowers, how the invitations looked, color palette, letters written to each other, ETC. You have spent so much time/effort on this day, these will be things that you’ll want to remember & also pass down to allow future generations to see each & experience the beauty of this day!

2. Sometimes very special details are apart of the day, maybe your grandmother’s jewelry, a passed down hair piece, dad’s cuff links for the groom, a family heirloom. Or any other sentimental or intentional detail.
3. You’ve put in a lot of effort deciding on these key details, flower choices, rings, shoes, jewelry, colors, perfume, cologne, etc. All of these accessories were hand picked & deserved to be remembered, displayed & shared!
The list could go on & on of things that can be or are included in a couples wedding day. I highly encourage you to incorporate enough time in the day for details to be photographed. Whether the details are sentimental or not these things were chosen to be apart of your wedding day because you wanted them to be. It’s a chapter that must be included to tell the whole story of your day & will be important to have once your albums & prints are created! Don’t make the mistake of not documenting such an important portion of your wedding story!
